I prefer rib eye medium rare to rare. Make sure it is marbled to be tender.
If you like new york strip, the you will love t-bone/ porter house best t-bone.

filet mignon. It has the least amount of fat of any steak, and I can't stand that stuff!! New York Strip is my second choice.
