For the purpose of answering these questions what is a Squatter?

I was accused of being a squatter on one of the questions that I answered here. If was voted best answer, I got an email late last night informing me that I was a squatter and they took the best answer away deleted my response and took the points away.

It's called "your account was hacked." Answers does not have a section or rules for squatters ie..nothing in the community guidelines. I also did a search in the Answers help section and discovered no information. I think you need to forward that email to Yahoo customer care in order to address the problem.

I've never heard of that one. Read the Community Guidelines, it should explain it. There's no complaint category for "Squatters" so I have no clue what it's all about.

squatter is defined by a land owner buying a right to keep homesteaders known as squatters of the land also used as a means to control and to monopolize.

A squatter is a person who is living in a vacant building they do not own, rent , or even have permission to be there -for free.

I think thats covered under the HOMESTEADERS ACT.. youll have to chech for specifics (United states Code & Code of Federal regulations) Its a bit lenghty to put in here...

the slang term means someone homeless thats living on someone elses land basically.. but thats not a legal definition
