Played Halo 3 on Xbox 360.

Who could possibly answer this question?

If you think of God in the right context you will know he is eternal.

Being eternal he is not bound by space/time as we are.

As such he sees the begining and the end and everything in between as we perceive now.

He is watching you being born, asking this silly question, and something you'll do tomorrow all like we perceive the present.

So while we was thinking about creating the world, he was creating it, and doing whatever in the end of it.

Maybe he was busy creating other things. The whole universe would take a long time to create.
