I read the previous answer, and can't state it any better than that. I wouldn't worry about a thumbs down on your answer. Yahoo Answers seems to be overrun now with smarta** people who don't like anything, and do nothing but cause trouble. That's why Yahoo calls them trolls.

you are right there is no right or wrong answer, but there are some parts of the world where they believe there should be only one religion and if you don't give them the answer they want then that is a thumbs down.
another way 2 get a thumbs down is if they are uneducated about that religion and believe it evil.

Spiteful trolls love to do this,one answer is to do away with the thumbs down and leave the thumbs up,and that would be punishment for them.

No, it's just some people are idiotic. They do it because they hope it will bother you. Be like me, seek the thumbs downers. Answer your questions honestly and don't give them a hint that it bothers you. I just asked a question about this.

I believe giving thumbs is another way of judging.
I thought that was against Christianity.

Same reason I always get Thumbs Down. Someone dislikes your Religious Faith.

The Y!infants are using the thumbs down for questions/answers that are above their understanding.
This will probably get me a bunch of thumbs down and maybe even reported as a violator...

If you answered in a way that demeaned the beliefs of others, I could see this happening. Otherwise, it seems very unfair.
