My 3 kids do.
They all have a "ride" on the chair and get a balloon and a sticker for opening their mouth.
Also i used to work for that dentist so my kids have known her from before they were born.

The dentist does not bother me. If you have a pleasent experience from a young age then as you grow older the dentist will not scare you. Also having a Dentist that you trust helps. I got five teeth taken out about a year and a half ago. They put me to sleep, and took out my teeth. Thye perscribed me meds and I was fine. They checked up on my occasionally, by calling my house. So dentist are not that bad as long as they now what they are doing.

I don't think there are too many people who like to go the the dentist. I know, I've too many bad experiences with one.

i started going to the dentist when i was a kid...of course, who didn't? then the orthodontist...braces for 3 years, jaw surgery, chin surgery, 2 top widom teeth out, lots of molds and impressions, seperators, a little metal piece that was supposed to prevent a lisp (and didn't), a rapid pallete expander (twice) and a total of 4 permanent and 4 baby teeth removed. oh did i mention that he touched a nerve when doing my chin surgery and i haven't been able to feel my chin for over 7 years? yeah, don't really like the dentist at all.

Why dislike a person just because of the job they do? Dentist fix the damage we do to our teeth with sugar & not brushing.

I don't think it is so much of disliking the dentist as much as the procedures. it seems no matter how good you take care of your teeth they are going to find something. No one can have a perfect mouth forever. The old say what you don't have..they find....what they can't find...they give you.

I must say that I love my dentist. He is a wonderful person and so are his wife and children. We go to the same church. He also teaches my Sunday school class.
As for some of the things he needs to do to my teeth...I do dislike them.
