Don't listen to these losers. Some people are just cuddly and he may have had a previous girl that took a liken to it. He might not have called back b/c he might have taken your response as rejection. Then again he could have realized he wasn't getting far. But hey my answer may be wrong also. If sex was involved then the fact that he stopped calling you was that he did want something more.
If you never had sex yet and he aint calling you anymore after you told him you are dating then he wants only sex from you and once he knows you sharing your stuff he moved on to a next one.
Most likely it is case 1, where he wanted more and he was hurt by you telling him how you are. Put it this way. Dont feel bad or regret. I suppose you are below 21-23 y o so all your life is in front of you; meaning get your grove on and get your experience first before settling down like he wanted you to. ;)

he was thinking that he was going to get more out of the relationship than what you wanted! or maybe he just was the affectionate type! stay away from them! sometimes they get a little creepy!

if he stopped calling you, it means his best interest was going to be sex, and with all the extra hugging, holding, kissing, cuddling, was just to butter you up. how about you dont call the guy, right now he is probably thinking, "oh ill show her, i wont call her until she calls me, she will miss me...." prove that bia wrong gurl!
