Take every dance class that you can. Tell the teacher(s) of your intent to become a choreographer. They can help you learn what it is you will need to know.

Take many dance classes. Once you're pretty advanced, start teaching (and you don't have to be very old. My friend is a junior in HS and she teaches.) Get in contact with a pro choreographer and start shadowing. I have a great friend who's a choreographer, but she lives in Boulder, and I'm not sure where you live.
