I am needing to do an essay on WWII. What is a good topic that I can study and do an essay on?? The war is just too big for me to be able to write a book on it. Also, I do not have that much time.

appeasement. Write about the neutral countries, specifically your own country before it joined the war. Or if it stayed neutral, why?

Or, what did your grandparents do? If they were fighter pilots, write that. If they were political prisoners....

4. D-Day - Preparing for the invasion of Europe at Normandy
5. Generals - an overview of the various generals on all sides (Patton, Montgomery, Eisenhower, Rommel, Goering, Etc.)
6. The war in the air over Europe
7. The Battle of Brittain
8. Submarine stories of the war
9. The Phillipines
10. Iwo Jima (flags of our fathers)
11. Internment of Japanese ancestry citizens in US
12. Rosie the Riveter - women working at home while men fought
13. War bonds, patriotism, and sacrifice at home
14. The war in Russia
15. Allies - countries that fought for or against the US
16. Churchill - his speeches, his energy, his vision and leadership
17. Damage to countries - rebuilding when the war is over
18. Spies and stories of their damage or success
19. Compare and contrast the world before and after
20. Hitler - his quest for Aryan conquest and world domination

Write about the Bismark. It was a german battleship that decimated Britains fleet. It sunk their flagship, and only three people survived. It was a brutal vessel. And there is a lot of info about it, easy to find. Also, no one really studies it.

heres my tips... why notmake some essay about the revised constitutioin of japan that entails that japan is not allowed to call for a war again... they were banned against it...
