Ok so say somebody was to die and go to heaven, I assume they take their memories and personality etc with them. All the expereinces on earth and things learnt would go with you. It is even depicted in movies as if you just go to a new place without even changing physical appearence.

However what happens when a young baby dies, but is eligable for access to heaven? The baby has had no expereinces, can't even talk or communicate and has absolutly no wisdom or real memory or recollection of its life on earth whatsoever. Does the baby stay as a baby in heaven? Or does it grow and learn and to which point does it stop growing? Because if the baby does develop into a physically mature human state (look) in heaven, does that mean that if a teenager dies, they grow into an adult in heaven? Or if a limbless 90 year old goes to heaven, they stay a limbless ninety year old? I'm puzzled and would like to know an answer. Thx

In response to gwhiz1052, i still find that kinda sad. If only we could maybe remember the good things we did in our past lives. Because it's a shame that you end up forgetting every1 u ever loved and cared for back on earth...

Read The Bible When Jesus Talks About The Seeds. Every thing That dies on Earth Stay on Earth. See What God Him Self Said To Adam&Eve, This Also Goes to all Men And Women. We Are Just The Seed Of Good and Evil. Any living thing that live here dies here. And that you live again. (Yes)

The answer is the NOBODY really knows. Sylvia Brown (a spiritual consultant and writer) says she knows a lot about the other side - right down to buildings and such. But you know - I truly think that's too much information.

I believe that we all come from God - and then we return. I think this happens several times. So - we're all souls when we return there. We're just here on earth now - doing our human thing. In heaven - we all just connect back to God. No human form. Just souls.

I believe in Karma and reincarnation of the soul. The birth and death of a baby cannot explained away other than by way of karma theory. Man's disposition and his life now is predetermined by the result of acts of commission and omission in his previous birth. He takes birth to work out his karma (previous action). Good or bad, he has work it out. The soul, which is entrapped in the cycle of birth and death, will not be liberated unless it is freed from the effects of his past karma. The child which is just born and dies, without any experience in a birth, must have been born, perhaps to work the balance of the karma.

This is one of the more difficult questions to answer, not because the Bible does not present a clear picture of what happens when any of us dies, but because of the emotion and trauma associated with the death of babies and small children. Many people who profess to teach the Bible will answer this question in the affirmative and it is, indeed, the easy way out of answering this question and provides comfort the the parents and family of the child who died. I would assume that your asking this question indicates your desire to hear the Biblical answer to this question.

While having great compassion toward one who would ask this question, the Biblical answer is "no".

Babies, by definition, are without sin. Jesus taught us that little children, free from sin and guile, are the model for those who would enter the kingdom of God.

"People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.'" ( Luke 18:15-17, NIV) (see also Matthew 19:13-15 and Mark 10:13-16)

There are two instances in teh Bible where teh one speakign is from teh viewpoint of beign in Heaven, has full knowledge of what had coem before. BUT there are verses in teh Bible that plainly state there wil be no memories. As for babies, well, WOW I really don't know. I guess it pains us too much to actually have to think about that one but here is a link that answers questions such as that. Good luck your search and I hope you find your answer.

So think about it, if you are destined to exist forever, then youll probably forget everything from earth anyways, so it wouldnt matter youd be the same as a baby

The same as for the rest of us, but you know what? no one really can tell you what Heaven is like, Jesus had this to say about Heaven,`No eye has seen,no ear has heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him`.
