Even the President conceded there was no connection. I guess if Iraq would have been a success no body would have cares-most people vote their pocket book. He took the rage of the American people and directed our resources and precious blood into the most failed sceme of all time. That is all this boils down to-a lie-I could have understood if we would have attacked the Saudis (they were Saudi Nationals who carriedout the attack). Oh Yea there is a little oil in Iraq...hmmmmm...come on you cowardly neo-cons lets here it!!!!

Iraq has to do with stabilizing the Middle East and preventing future wars or terrorism. I would say that has something to do with 9/11, but if you mean did we go to Iraq to hunt those responsible for 9/11, then no not really.

Them simply being Saudi, does not necessarily mean we should attack Saudi Arabia and not Iraq.

I am a conservative but not a Neocon, I never believed there was a connection and I think the whole WMD thing wasn't enough to go to war in the first place. Who are we to tell another sovereign nation what kind of weapons they can or can not have? Especially when we turn a blind eye to Israel's own WMD program.
However, deposing an evil dictator that murdered hundreds of thousands of his own people, who allowed his closest circle to rape and torture anyone they wanted to is a noble act. The Iraqi people need our support more than ever. We have our freedom and many people take that for granted every single day but in Iraq the people got to vote on who represents them in their Government, this is the first time that has happened in Iraq for three or four thousand years of recorder history. There is NOTHING wrong with giving people their freedom and in the long run it will yield very positive results. The most important thing that most liberals can't or won't understand is "Freedom isn't free"
