55 million people also believe that a Snake convinced our ancestors, who lived in a Magical garden to eat from a Magic tree that had a fruit that let us know we were actually naked. As punishment for the first sin we get to suffer for all eternity and the snake gets to crawl on his belly...great

You counted me by mistake...I believe in evolution...so the actual number is 54,999,999. Do we still win?
I'm a pretty hard-core Catholic and I believe that God created evolution...just as He did all other science. Are some of my fellow Christians alleging that God is wrong?

whether u belive are not u cannot change facts. The truth will be the truth, and the truth will set us free.
I do not blame the 55 million for not believing, but if they close their eyes and refuse to see facts of evolution, when we present it, then we blame them. c'mon, Let us dig for the facts of evolution.

I suspect the number is actually much higher. There's something like 300,000,000 people in the US now, right? I've read something like 90% of them reject evolution in favour of the Christian creation myth.
Strangely enough in their national academy of sciences its 90% who accept evolution. Amusingly creationists use that data to imply the top scientists are evil and godless, they don't see what it might imply that the most intelligent people reject their ideas.

So what? Everyone on earth used to believe the earth was flat. Of course they had an excuse. Science had not yet revealed the truth.

Evolution of species is a fact, it isn't even remotely in doubt-if those people don't accept that fact then it's solely down to ignorance or bigotry and that's a poor reflection on the US. They shame their country.

And why should they believe in a theory that is simply atheistic nonsense? do you seriously expect millions of believers to turn from their lifelong belief in God and come over to this garbage?
God created Mankind seperate and distinct from any other creature and gave him dominion over all creation, now in the animal world there has indeed been times when according to extremes of nature and other influences that they have adapted to the environment but this is not evolution.
