Having lived only in Vatican two, I can tell you what I know. I know a few people who still follow VAtican one, so that's what I'm using as a comparison

1. In V1, when receiving the Eucharist, it had to be your first "meal" of the day. Meaning, no food from midnight on. Masses in the mornings were packed and attendance waned by afternoon because no one wanted to fast that long.

2. Women had to wear a head covering. IT was often a lace doily.

3. No meat on Fridays. My mom tells me all the time what grandma used to cook (seafood mostly)

4. I heard masses were said in Latin, but I am not positive on this.
