No contradiction at all. I know many High Monks and Lamas who openly express that they have great respect for the previous Pope or for the Late Great Mother Teresa.

To most Buddhists, it does not matter whether a being is labeled a Buddhist or not, it is however of primary importance if that being displays Divine Kindness, Exceptional Compassion or Selfless Love for others, then even if they do not have the label of "buddhists", such a precious being is viewed by many Buddhists as a Emanation or Avatar of Buddha's Great Compassion on Earth.

Some modern buddhists I know actually consider Jesus to be an emanation of Avalokitesvara ( tibetan: Chenresig, chinese: Kuan Yin) the Buddha of Compassion and Mercy. Because his actions truly displays his Divine Spirit and Compassionate Nature....

So... Love Jesus? Love Buddha? Love Mother Teresa? no difference... its is a Love for their incredible qualities, perseverence and virtues which i believe most spiritual seekers are working very hard to attain.

No. You can love Jesus as a human. That may very well be all that he was. And don't listen to the B.S. like "you still won't be saved". I'm assuming that is not on your agenda. I don't know much about the Buddhist way of life or beliefs, but I would imagine they don't have regulations about which HUMANS you are allowed to like. I'm agnostic, but I think Jesus really existed. And Mohammed. That doesn't mean I set them on a pedestal and believe that they were anything but men.

No there is nothing wrong with that. You don't have to be Buddhist to love and respect other people. All humans from any faith should be like that.

No, I thought Jesus was pretty cool as well - humble carpenter in 1st Century Judea, who resisted the Roman occupation and preached a message of love and tolerance against the complacent Hebrews of his time - and paid with his life. An ancient Che Guevara is how I see him. Deeply admirable, but not worshippable.

Yes, Jesus was half human and half God. Buddhists practice Idolatry.

Both Christ and Buddha are the Messengers of God; They are divine, not human. It is already 2, 500 years, no man has become Buddha like Gautama Sakyamuni.

I do not see anything wrong with that. You seem to be a very spiritual person and do not let any christian tell you you are wrong. God gave you a mind and you should be able to use it. I am a gnostic christian which i have a lot of buddhist beliefs.
