This questions sucks, but the pitbull would win. Dobies aren't dog aggressive and are not inclined to fight with other dogs. They really are more inclined to back away and leave than fight with a dog. Also they aren't of a stockier build, the other dog could easily bite their legs. And, although they have quite large teeth, they weren't bred to hold onto something once they have bitten down.

Funny that someone would immediately think a dog fight. I actually googled this because I have a Doberman pup who is four months old. We just bought a house, and our neighbors have 2 pits. When my Dobie is older she might stand a chance, but for now I won't let her near those dogs just in case. I just was curious which breed could protect themselves better if push came to shove.

Honestly, the personalities of the dogs would make a big difference. If the pit bull was shy and timid and the Doberman was dominant, the Doberman would win.

they both will lose they get caught fighting and they both will be put down or worse one will kill the other in cuel way and once a dog gets a taste for blood that is it it can never be a house pet and around people or other dogs
