There is no way to strip the hair to go back to your natural colour. The only thing you can do is to find a colour that is as near to your natural colour as possible and use that. That way your regrowth will not be as noticable. To get back to your original colour the only thing you can do is grow it out unfortunately.
Hope this helps!

What needs to be done entirely depends on what you have! Are you naturally dark and went lighter or naturally light and went darker? If you are naturally dark and went light you need to fill in the pigment that was removed and then put your target shade over the fill. If you are darker now that your natural you need to bleach out the dark and tone to what your natural is. But there is no way to take it off and be natural again. Just go to the salon and get it done. Believe me if you mess with the color and goof it up the price just about doubles when you get to the salon. And some otc colors aren't compatible with other dyes so you would then be growing out a bad shade or cutting it off before it could be recolored. Leave it to the pros!

OR.. you can go to wal-mart or something and get one of those at home hair colours... it's not really hard and you can get one that more closely resembles your natural color... I'm going through the same problem now.. I had very expensive highlights and lowlights and all around lights... It was really getting pricey to keep up with. I also didn't want to look like white trash and let my roots grow out! So I used one of those at home kits and it worked great plus It gave my hair an extra little shine ...

The best thing to use is Head and shoulders its wont take it out straight away but will make it fade wash it every day with a good amoun of head and shoulders. Eventually is will take the colour but not straight away. That way you aint using harsh chemicals on your hair. and is cheaper than getting it stripped at the salon. On the other hand you could go to ur local supermarket and buy a home dying kit they are around £5. So easy to use and fraction of the price

Stripping will damage the heck out of your hair. Leave it to the pros. Grow is out an inch to let them see your natural colour and then have them deal with it. Good Luck! I went from jet black to platinum!!! :)
