D..tho why they continually go with to make any such large deal out of a footnote interior the conflict ill under no circumstances comprehend..As an incident it became any such minor component as to be non-existant although the clicking and the anti-conflict people made a huge concern out of it..why is it that when one area does some thing undesirable it receives omitted or maybe as the othersides troops do some thing minor its a bloodbath, why is it even as one area gadgets the regulations for battling ,the different area(many times the U. S.) receives denegrated and reviled for doing lower back what the enemy began?.,mei lai became only a concern that were given out of hand, and maximum of those killed werent "harmless villagers" they were veit cong sympathisers, the priority is once you turn it on,it takes a lengthy time period to illustrate itback off (many times no longer until eventually eventually all and sundry is spent) and there became some collateral harm and the clicking blew it out of percentage.too many instructors immediately were hippy's lower back then so as that they war to teach all about this "terrible masacre" and dont difficulty with authentic atrocities like Hue, which someone stated, run a search for on Tet offensive ,occupation of city of hue and such and also you should work out th different area for what they extremely were. Or seem into the way veit cong( and NVA) dealt with captured UN workers, no longer some thing achieved at mei lai became undeserved or unprovoked

The U.S. and they were punished.
A poor Lt took the hit for something that he should have never been pin with.
It isn't mention much how that village was supplying the Viet cong
or how they took a ambush from that same village.
Also those at the troops and families supported him when he got back and face trail.
It just makes good press to mention Mei Li Massacre but you know very little about it by the way you put the question.
Can you name me 1 country that doesn't have something dark it is past.
