We live in Switzerland and will most likely fly to London (although other suggestions are welcome). My cousin's getting married in Cornwall on Easter Monday (April 8th I believe). We should be able to leave home mid-afternoon on the Wednesday before and would need to be back not too too late Tuesday night.

Two adults, two kids, 11 & 8. My husband can drive RHD if need be. I don't drive at all. 11yo has been known to get carsick. Rent a car? Take the train? Bum a lift off another cousin? Is there a better airport to fly into?

I don't really know where in Cornwall!

Any advice on our best plan in terms of cost, convenience, sight-seeing opportunities, etc. would be most welcome. Thanks in advance!

train will probably be your best option, fast, but costs a bomb, Uk rail website is below:

could coach, in which case by far the biggest operator is national express:

Car hire is pricey, numerous operators, any of the big ones should be able to load you a car.

Cornwal does have a couple of airports, NEwquay is the only one with proper flights, but I doubt any come from Switzerland, they might though:

Hope you get there safely and your friends have a pleasant wedding
