how do u all feel when u just want a straight answer from personal experience or actual knowledge and all u get is abuse. im not saying that i was "abused" but this person's answer just got me thinking about how annoying it is... share some stories or opinions?
ps- i am not an angel- i have done this when i feel it is called for- such as a question i answered about a person who had bred two different cross breeds (eg mum a german shep/lab/husky and dad a pitty/staffy/boxer) when the mum had elbow dysplacia and the dad had hip dysplacia...

BADGIRL41: in my question i stated that i didnt feel i was being abused. i do feel that this user is rude-read some of his other answers. i also rescue these dogs. every day. any time i get a call. i also work in a shelter helping them and finding them new homes. i loathe backyard breeders and irrisponsible dog owners, but that was not the point of my question, nor was it even mentioned.

I hear ya! I too have been the recipient of uncalled for insulting remarks from this person. Although he claims to be oh so knowledgeable, I have yet to see him share his credentials. For someone who professes a desire to stop backyard breeding, you would think he would make an attempt to educate people instead of attacking their character and intelligence. But the approach he takes is all wrong. As long as this continues, no one will take his answers or questions seriously other than his hand full of followers. His attitude about mixed breeds is horrible! Unless a dog is a pure breed, with a long list of titles, he feels it has no purpose or right to live. I dont know about you, but to me that attitude seems reminiscent of Hitler's in regard to Jews.

It irritates me too. I don't get irritated by the rudeness of the answers, though. What irritates me is that such people aren't answering the question but are instead ranting about how they feel about your question. But you can't stop them from answering. Just don't let the rude people get to you.
Think of training a dog, and how your attention to their bad habits (rewarding the bad behavior) only encourages the dog to do it more. Just like dogs who act up, such people are just looking for attention, even if it's negative.

I read the post and i did not see that it was that rude. It is the way that this person is and they are blunt and to the point. They do not like cross breed dogs and back yard breeders. There is alot of people like that. I wish people would get their pets spayed and neutered so there would not be such an over abundance of mutts/mongrels. I rescue these poor animals and it is sad that people keep being irresponsible and keep adding to the not wanted pet population..
You are going to get rude answers on here, but what about the people that ask questions then get DECENT responses but yet the asker gets rude with the people answering the questions calling them names because they did not get the answer they wanted? We just move on is what we do
I did relate my answer to the rudeness you referred to, But I guess i did not bash the person you are referring to so u therefore did not like my answer,
They do give some rude answers to people BUT,,,,,,, read some of the questions they are answering, some deserve the rudeness. Your question was innocent and NO did not deserve any rudeness, but if you felt like you weren't being abused I am sorry to say this u would not have posted this one.

I went to your previous question and the only answer that was a bit annoying was some cretins response about Mutts. I have always had mutts and i found that answer annoying but then again why stress out about someone who is so mentally challenged that they don't realise that all breeds were mutts at some stage. I I have never posted a question but I do get really annoyed when people respond to a sensible question not with a sensible answer aimed at addressing the persons concerns but instead a pile of biased/ irrational crap with the sole purpose of belittling the asker- it reminds me of the name calling by little kids in a school yard.

Ya, the thing isn't perfect, then you get bumped for no reason at all and lose points and wonder why, they say guide lines...I think this is new and they clearly have not worked out all the kinks yet.
I haven't gotten any really rude answers but I could see how that feels sometimes when I am answering I come across some just plain mean asnwers...I mean why answer at all??...it must be they get some anger out and get two point....I thank you for the link...have a good day..

Just ignore the small minded creatures that answer questions in a rude manner....they are the ones who are here for no good apparent reason other than to make dumb remarks....just wait a few days and hopefully you will get the response you want from someone who cares...I wish I could help you, but I am limited as far as dogs information goes. Hope you get your answer soon and again, just ignore the bad comments, good ones will come along.

Some people troll here just for the chance to be rude to others, since they could never get away with such behaviour in their every day lives. They are looking for someone to take out their bad behaviour, very simply. Ignore them and use your "report abuse" button when needed.
And keep asking questions, by all means!

I am going to say on Yahoo Answers there are a lot of jerks and a lot of sensitive people. I got reported for answers I thought were okay and someone who felt slightly hurt by my opinion did it. What is the point of Yahoo Answers when people ask for opinions and then when they don't like it complain? It's sad you didn't get the answer you were looking for in that question though.

Many people have trouble with the truth and others are frustrated about telling the truth over and over again. I read the statement and didn't see any thing particularly abusive about it. In fact I thought it was one of his/her nicer replies. This is a question and answer forum and the whole world is able to come on here. At least your not being followed around having a stupid clone answering pretending to be you insulting others like me.
Well Gee, I just gave my opinion and got a thumbs down. I wont cry about it.

Don't feel too bad. The person who posted the rude comment is famous for that. They think 99.99% of all dogs are mutts/mongrels, etc. Actually the post to you was pretty tame compared to most others that they post here. Ignore them. Or if their answer is abusive, report them.
