Again, I'm looking for justification from the Quran or Hadith, not your opinion. Also, please understand the question properly, I'm NOT asking what language the Quran was revealed in, NOR am I asking which language is best at delivering its message, NOR am I asking which language Muhammed (SAW) used when reciting the Quran.

There is none.

Recitals do not need to be done in Arabic.

Theyre done in Arabic out of the context of salaat for literary reasons.

But if you do so in any other language you gotta keep in mind that that isnt the original script. Only a mere translation. And originals are so much better.

No. Quranic recital is a cultural thing. If you're not from Arabic speaking country..it's a better idea to read Quran in your languange. I don't see why Quranic recitals must be in Arabic when not everybody knows the language.

"Surely We have revealed it-- an Arabic Quran-- that you may understand."
12:2

"And thus have We revealed it, a true judgment in Arabic, and if you follow their low desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you shall not have against Allah any guardian or a protector."
13:37

"An Arabic Quran without any crookedness, that they may guard (against evil)."
39:28

"And if We had made it a Quran in a foreign tongue, they would certainly have said: Why have not its communications been made clear? What! a foreign (tongue) and an Arabian! Say: It is to those who believe a guidance and a healing; and (as for) those who do not believe, there is a heaviness in their ears and it is obscure to them; these shall be called to from a far-off place."
41:44

The Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “Whoever reads a letter of the Book of Allaah (Quran) shall have a good deed (recorded for him or her) and every good deed is increased a ten-fold (reward). I do not say that Alif Laam Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter and Meem is a letter.” [At-Tirmithi]

^^^These aren't exactly proofs, I know.

The fact that there are several different translations of the Qur'an is enough to say that its perfect meaning is only in Arabic. Suppose someone recites a translation by Yusuf Ali and another says no, Shakir's is better. But in Arabic, there is only one Qur'an, directly from Allah.

I understand ur qs but i wud like to say:
It is said by Hazrat Umer or Ali (RA)
for every word of the quran there are more than 70 meanings
and any translation can never properly comprehend the word.
Every time u read Quran u c the verse with a diff perpective.

What do you mean?

It is OK for you to read it in English, its better that you understand it.

But in Prayers you must say it in Arabic because this is the Sunnah (the way of the Prophet)

Peace Be With You
