i have an andy pandy eggcup that says 1956 on it. is it worth anything?

I agree with cuddles suggestion to find out it's worth. There are likely to be a number of collectors out there who would like to buy your item. Check on E*Bay to see if anything similar is being sold today. That may give you an idea of general price, even if you can't find the same item up for auction.

Quite possible - I suspect there may not be many of those remaining. However, worth is relative - we're not talking about 100's of pounds here, but it could be worth 50 quid. You need to take it to an auction house for valuation - you don't have to put it up for sale there!
