Because God did not heal everyone while he was on earth either, he wants us to love him for himself not for his gifts.

There are several reasons why and any individual would have to search thier own spirit to know why for them.
The true believers have the power to heal ( 1 Corinthians 12:9)because Jesus endowed us with the Holy Ghost.
The true church will teach this and be found operating in the gifts of the Spirit as in Corinthians.
One time I asked my minister about going to the hospitals and healing the sick and he said if God would have us go we would.I asked why wouldn't God have us go?He said there are some people that would rather have a disability check than be whole or healed. This stuck in my mind but over the years I have come to understand it more, and it is true what the word of God says.....the love of money is the root of all evil.
The true church of Christ must understand who they are and what they are to God,Jesus and the Holy Ghost to be effective.
Jesus said where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name there I am in the mist. This is all it takes but where are they?,the true believer?
We have to know who we are.God is not failing us,we are failing by not honoring the way God set up his kingdom
Remember...God watches over his word to perform it.

If God healed amputees, it would basically be Him saying that amputees aren't good enough or human enough the way they are.
It would be the same as saying "You're just not good enough unless you're fully able-bodied." Which is not the way God thinks, of course -- He loves and values all His people, whether they have all their limbs or not.
As for children with terminal cancer: it's very hard to reconcile such suffering with the existence of a loving God. But not impossible.
Suffering, unfortunately, is part of human life. It also provides an opportunity to witness to the suffering of Christ.
Christ understands our suffering. He became one with it, by becoming a human being like us.
He no doubt saw people who lived around Him suffer and die. No doubt, some of these people were children.
He also experienced suffering Himself -- enduring what was probably the most painful and most humiliating form of capital punishment ever known.
So, God is not some "out there" being who doesn't understand our suffering.

a lot of prayers asked are not with enough faith.or now we wont be able to handle this if it come to pass.
HE says in Luke 18:30 "Who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come everlasting life."
my father went to madhyapradesh in India and saw a villager who was uneducated and never read Bible only heard the word from others started healing people, curing many, exorcised and gave life to the lifeless; the only sentence he spoke with his faith that-'YESU accha karta ' which means 'Jesus heals'.he practiced his faith and God helped him.
with God all things are possible.we need more faith to see the manifestation of work of God and His wonders
GOD BLESS.

I think the word God is used too many times without much thought nowadays..
can you honestly say you realize that you are talking about the largest , most powerful, limitless, knowing, wise , capable being ever? Can you honestly say that when you mention the word God you shudder at the thought of the immensity and vastness? And everytime you say it, youre better off not saying it unless you do feel something?
If you had felt the vastness, the power , and the amazement that results from knowing Hes there, you wouldnt even dare ask such a question.
Because you in your small, little, unimportant, measly little existence in a measly little world called earth, cannot possibly comprehend His mercy and wisdom in all things.
Overall, I think He just gives too much freedom that should make you know the answer to this question before you even ask.

First this part of the Bible you quoted you have to read in context. Never just use verses. We can not tell God who and which diseases to heal. Remember that nothing is impossible for God and if anything is according to His will He can heal this person. But it have to be according to God's will not our will. Remember everything is possible with God

Okay if people dont know they should just shut up and if people dont believe in God why dont they just skip the question instead of putting their ignorant spin on it.
ANYWAYS!! Thats one of the mysteries of God who knows why God does what he does? Why are millions of people in the world in poverty? Why is AIDS so rampant in Africa and India? Why arent their cures for a lot diseases and cancers so people dont have to suffer? Why Why Why is always asked a lot in religion. I dont think anyone has a definite answer as to why. Maybe that quote from the bible is being taken literally. Maybe he means like asking for strength or wisdom or something of that nature. But your question is a good one. There is supposed to be suffering on earth because of the original sin of Adam and Eve.

to respond to your question i am going to quote you: "If any Christian can tutor me one documented, validated case of a those with an amputated limb growing to be lower back in it is entirety then i am going to in the recent day grow to be a frothing on the mouth evangelical without question. I swear." the position is the religion in that. To belive in God because He did the no longer attainable isn't faith and that is what He asks.

You talk as though losing a limb is the worst thing that can happen to a human being. Your question is absurd and I don't want to waste my time answering it. Suffice to say that your understanding of God is warped and misguided and you should probably throw away your bible for a few years and go and help some people; find out what it is to do some good.
