Any type of exercise makes your lose calories, a treadmill is very good for this, I would walk at least at a 4 mile rate and burn those calories away, the bike is very good as well!

i heard that an australian study found that if you use a certain technique on an exercise bike you lose 3 times more weight than if you cycle at a normal steady pace.

If you cycle flat out for 8 seconds then normal pace for 12....continue repeating this for 20 mins and its so much more effective (along with other exercises and healthy eating)

Good luck
