this is normal with new pups. when they r seperated from their mother and siblings they feel lonely and cry for them to respond. they think they r lost. a fantastic solution to this is to get a jumper u have been wearing (so it smells like u) and wrap a ticking clock in the jumper. place the clock/jumper mix in ur pups bed and snuggle him up against it. this should help.
i feel that i should also mention that puppies should never never never be taken away from their mothers any earlier than 8 weeks. i know u may not kow this and u r obviously not the breeder, so its not ur fault, but the breeder may be a little shonky if he/she is willing to jepordise his/her pups health by letting them be separated from its mum 2-3 weeks early. i would reccomend u take ur dog to the vet for a routine check up to take sure his health is ok, because as ur pup was sepatated from his mum too early, he hasnt got all of the nutrients he needed. this will also be a reason why he is crying.
good luck with ur new pup! enjoy watching him grow! i love pups, they r amazing!! feel free to email me any progress he is making! =)

Actually I don't know why people allow puppies to be adopted at 5 and 6 weeks of age. They should stay with Mom if at all possible until 8 weeks of age. This is when Mom teaches them pack behavior as well as independence.
Put a hot water bottle in with him/her, see if that helps. Also consider crate training. It does make a puppy feel more secure as well as help with house training.

6 weeks is very young to be taken from he mother, 8 to ten weeks is recommended. Please allow him to sleep with or near you at night for comfort. If he's crated, put the crate right next to your bed. A hot water bottle under his blanket might help along with a soft stuffed animal. Mostly, give him cuddles, love and comfort. He's such a tiny baby and you don't want him to grow up anxious and scared. Good luck.

Could last anywhee from a couple nights to a couple weeks. Make his/her bed comfy and give some chew toys to help puppy feel more secure and less bored and don't go back and forth trying to soothe cuz it just makes it harder in the longrun.
Good luck

He's missing mommy, just put a hot water bottle and an alarm clock in a box with him along with a blanket and he should be ok. Or you could allow him to sleep with you and this will substitute for mom. He will get used to it. Next will come the housebreaking and chewing stage.

This is normal and should only last 1-2 weeks. Like a baby, don't pick the puppy up everytime they cry. It will go away.

Put a hotwater bottle and a small clock in his bed. The warmth from the bottle and ticking from the clock will usually calm a puppy.

Actually he needs some more time to set with you. He has a fear by seeing the new faces. Don't be in worry.
