I recently travelled by air. While air borne, I experienced bouts of pain in the jaw, my head (on the eyebrows), sinuses, ears and even my teeth. The problem was gone as soon as I landed. Can anyone tell me what it was because I have only heard about earaches during air travel. Can anyone prescrbe a remedy as well.?

You have a small tube that runs from your inner ear into your nasal cavity. It is quite common for one side, or both to become plugged with mucus with changes of air pressure. The same thing can happen in tall elevators. There are several ways to make it better. The easiest is chewing gum especially on decent (going down). Other fixes are nasal sprays, decongestants, benidryl. It can get especially bad if you fly with a cold. It could result in an extremely painful ear ache, head ache, and jaw ache or all three

I do not know of a remedy, but I can tell you, you're not alone, when I travel by air I get the same thing, and once we land I am fine. I was told that its all the air pressure.
