DO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE SHY?
TO WISH THE GROUND WOULD SWALLOW YOU UP,
TO SOMETIMES JUST WISH YOU COULD DIE,
TO BE SO CRIPPLED WITH FEAR
YOU NEVER LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL
TO JUST SIT ALONE AND CRY AND CRY
TO ASK YOURSELF WHY?
TO ALWAYS FEEL AS IF YOUR BEING WATCHED
WHEN REALLY YOUR NOT
TO NEVER BE ABLE TO FEEL AT EASE
AND ALWAYS BE EAGER TO PLEASE
TO ALWAYS FEEL THE 'ODD' ONE OUT
TO ALWAYS HAVE THAT HORRIBLE SELF DOUBT.

Some kids are born shy and more sensitive. Sometimes even babies act shy. Have you ever seen a baby hide his or her face from a stranger? On the other hand, another baby might kick, smile, and wave at everyone, even strangers.

But if you weren't shy as a little kid, it's still possible to be a shy person. You might have learned to be shy because of experiences you've had at school or home. And sometimes you only feel shy for a short while, like the first time you get on a new school bus. This type of shyness often goes away after you get adjusted.

Some people are shy for numerous reasons. Sometimes it can be inherited from their parents.

Others may be shy because the lack of interaction during the childhood times.

It may also symbolises a lack in confidence and shyness may mask it.

However, there are some shy people who are confident. They are just more prone to introversy and confine thoughts to themselves.

I'm shy and i hate being the center of attention, talking loudly, or anything, when the teacher calls my name they all go quiet and when an outgoing person is called on by the teacher everyone isn't quiet anymore. I'ver realised that in my observations. We're only more mysterious to figure out because we don't show alot of what we really are. Keep in mind that...

lady sorrow summed it up perfectly, where ever that composition came from.
though it all stems from low self esteem and self belief. with lots of self doubt thrown in.
just like all those with a thumbs up from me.

so basically it is all down to self confidence for any number of reasons.
the reasons vary peron to person. there is no one perfect answer that could be rated a ten (for the point on here).
though if i had asked the question then the answer posted by the poet lady sorrow would get my vote.

I am a bit shy and I can't help it. It is the way God made me. I have no control over it. I don't like to be the "center of attention," as it makes me feel akward.

Because of how they were treated by girls who they fancied.

ie if they had a great and close friend who found out he liked or he asked her out it really hurts him if she they stops being his mate completley. Loosing his best mate especailly if it keeps happening

Also guys brains freezes and dont know waht to say and girls are so picky and put down so harshly as get so many offers a day
