A few years ago, I thought about it. But never even looked into it. I think it's great that there is that option to help out others who can not have children. Don't listen to the weirdos.

Personally, no. I would feel odd knowing another woman may be carrying a child meant to be mine. I think life is precious and that eggs shouldn't be sold as that demeans something priceless and makes it cheap and commercial. Although, if a family member was unable to conceive naturally, I would perhaps consider donating but never selling... you can't put a price on life.

I could not sell my eggs
Here's my problem, let say you sell you eggs, you do not know who got them. Five years from now you have a baby. 25 years from know, they meet, fall in love. You see, the first child might never be told it not from his mom egg.
I have no problem, and thought about it for a family member.
If you know the person, it's okay
I also think selling sperm is a problem to for the same reason

I could never do it, but they have commercials on tv now saying if a women wants to give their eggs they pay $6,000.00 per time they do it, I know of a girl that did it for the money and she said she would never do it again because she was in so much pain afterwards.

Yes I have. But its quite painful and you need to spend a lot of time at doctors appts. Plus you dont get that much money. In the UK you are not allowed to actually sell them, you are allowed to donate but then you are not allowed to get paid loads, only enough to cover expenses

in user-friendly terms a speedy concept - each egg you donate is one which you will under no circumstances get returned. adult males produce sperm limitlessly, women individuals in user-friendly terms have a series volume of eggs. you're able to be required to get counseling earlier you're making one among those enormous selection. yet, in case you do elect to bypass via with it, i comprehend that that's extremely worthwhile (i've got heard as severe as $9,000 according to donation) and that i've got heard it marketed via infant's hospitals and fertility clinics. i could initiate the technique by skill of discussing it along with your individual obgyn, they are in a position to have your suitable pastime at coronary heart and be waiting to lead you accurately. in case you do elect to bypass via with it, god bless, you will easily make someones targets come real!

Never. I have no issues with donating, or surrogates, or adoptions, but I never could. My eggs are mine. Anyone born of my eggs I'd consider mine. For that matter, anyone born of my husband's sperm I'd also consider mine. I'd always wonder and mourn a missing egg as if it was a child, irregardless of what happened to it. My eggs are part of me. I couldn't give my egg away, anymore than I could give one of my kids away. I'd have no issue adopting a child, or being a surrogate for my sister (with her egg and her husband's sperm). But I couldn't give away something as close to me as an egg. I'll donate my organs at death, but leave my babies with me, please.
