I'm 22 and never dated! Is that unusual? Let me explain: My boyfriends have always been friends that grew into relationships, and boyfriends, and intimacy. I've never had a boyfriend from a random guy asking me out, going on a date, getting to know each other, and so on. All my relationships have been like---met a guy, become friends, after several month after knowing each other inside and out, one of us ended up falling for each other.

But now, I'm 22, and I wanna start dating. I mean when I do date a guy, we'll become friends while getting to know each other and then maybe go into a relationship. But I've never done the dating thing...I'm soo scared. I don't know how to act on a first date, I dont know how fast you're suppose to go, etc. I mean my prior relationships, we were all close and cuddly right away because we had been friends first so we knew each other. But with dating...it just seems like it would be kinda 'slow', you know? I don't know, hopefully someone will be helpful

Its sounds as though you've been doing it right from the start. If you go out with a random guy, you have to get to know them. With a friend, the relationship builds on a firm foundation. If you want to meet other guys to date. Find a place that attracts the sort of people you like. If you enjoy the company of an intellectual, try the local library. If you want a night owl, go to the clubs. Regardless of where or how you meet, alwys take it slow and get to know him first.

I'm 34 and 3 out of 3 of my long term relationships came from friendships or knowing someone over a period of time without the dating game first. I have been on dates with a couple of men that I met at "random" for want of a better word but I don't see them any more. I'm currently single but that's a different story. It just sot of works out how it works out and every ones journey in life is different. Go with the flow I say but above all ENJOY YOUR YOUTH WHILE YOU HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the best xx

well, just act natural...of course...if it was natural, then why do we say "act" natural. anyway, just be pleasant and open to conversation. first dates should be somthing low key and someplace where conversation is encouraged so and this lucky guy can get to know each other on a surface level.
hopefully, the guy will be sensitive enough to ask you about you and the things going on in your life. During the conversation, just work in that you're comfortable right now, and wanting to take things slow and casual.

all that aside, you look absolutely gorgeous. Any chance you're in the central california area?:) and maybe want to go out to lunch with a 27y/o?

good luck in your dating experience.

You may date but you should also select a right guy for you. You are inexperienced. You do not know ins and out of dating. You should not give yourself on first sight. Guys are very selfish. They only want to grind their own axe. They want to suck yourslef . Want to do sex and nothing more. They after doing sex will start give you second thought. They will think in renuciation of relationship and think for the other girl. It is hard truth. You should be very careful and not bow down just for a a guy who may not be sincere with you. Good Luck.

Friends are the best way to start a relatinship. Dating causes both parties to put on an act. You don't need to see someone that they're not. Stick with dating your Friends. Or learn about someone. Before dating `em. Your Heart will tell you when it's right.

Never go faster that you are ready for. Maybe you could just make some new friends and let the friendships develop like yours have in the past (with no pressure). I would say moving slow makes for a stronger relationship. Don't ever go further than you are comfortable with.

there's nothing to it really. dating also getting to know each other. naturally since you don't know him yet then this is the opportunity to get to know him personally. that is why you can have a date on any venue. you can do it in a fine restaurant, you can see a movie, or walk in the park or just hang out on your front porch (in a manner of speaking). Just be yourself. Its just like meeting someone whom you think has a potential of being a friend. Dating is a process wherein both persons are trying to see if they can be friends, and if possible be closer in time.

Ok there... its not unusual to not date till tat age. Me too. i juz started few week ago. Well, take it cool lady after all its not a very big issue. Seriously take it ur pace meaning do wat ur heart tell u to do. of course not too fast like 2-3 days and u offer him to touch ur hips sumthing like tat. then he will think u r CHEAP! tats not good either.
Since u r first timer, tell him and tell him to guide u. Say tat u love him and expect a good reply. Most important is not to giv up at all!!!
Don be scare at ur first date. act like u normally do cuz he loves u as u r. NOT THE MODIFIED U! if fear still run down ur body, then u choose the dating site insteed of him or go on double date. tat helps allot! GUD LUCK TO U>>>>>>

I think you have to take it slowly on your first date.. because you never been on a date before. Maybe you have to wait until you feel comfortable before you "move on". Explain the guy that you gonna be dating so he can understand you..
