Hi - I know how you feel, mine gets so bad that my hair actually starts to fall out on the really sore bits, eeek! Try POLYTAR, available over the counter at any chemist / Pharmacist. If you use it twice a week, with a shampoo / conditioner for the rest of the time such as T GEL or NEUTROGENA then you should start to notice a difference soon. let me know if youd like more info, I can sympathise! Oh, final thing - dont wash your hair in water thats too hot, or too often, as both things dry it out even more. HTH! Bex x

Is sounds like Psoriasis actually, this can cause really dry scalp which worsens with stress and anxiety. Over the counter products generally aren't strong enough to treat it effectively, just give relief from the itching for a short while. You could try treatments especially for Psoriasis, see your doctor they can prescribe proper stuff for it.

Yes i have something Similar , it is called psoriasis . I use a strong scalp application called DYPROSALIC but iv had it from when i was born . I suggest you try T-GEL shampoo. If that doesn't work there are many different lotions and potions out there. "The winter does make it worse though"

You really should see a doctor, could be a whole host of things - even a fungal infection if its that bad! If you want to try something over the counter first, try Nizoral (you can get it from boots) - its very good indeed.
