You can not save a video as an EXE the formats are incompatable.
However, there are ways to create an executable that plays a video that is stored withing in. There probably are a couple of applications that would help you do this, you would need to do a search to find any though.

You can't save a video file directly as an exe. However, there is software out there to do the conversion for you.
It depends on the video format but this is worth trying.

Save/Copy the video of any format to the desired location. to convert into .exe format and do the following.
For Example your video file to be converted is xxy.wmv and that file is located in d:
This is only for Dos and Windows Operating System.
1. Start -> Run -> Type cmd/command
2. Change the control to your location. here d:
>d:(enter)
3. >rename xxy.wmv xxy.exe(enter)
4. >exit(enter)
Now, check your video file. it will be in xxy.exe format.

exe extension indicates its an executable which is program functionality. You can't save a video as a exe file because its not a program.

.exe is an executable file, There is no way or reason to change a video in to .exe.

There is nothing to stop you renaming a .MPG file to .EXE. It would, however be an exercise in futility.
