when you start trying to push a guy off of you so he will stop making out with you, or getting his hands all over you, etc, he thinks you are trying to play rough and he starts being really rough in return?

this is not something i am really worried about, as it happened a few times over a year ago, and i dumped this guy eventually, but it was pretty scary as i couldn't breathe and he was more than twice my weight. smothering me, biting me, groping, etc. i'm over it, but it did make me quite panicky at the time. not to mention resentful.

just wondering if this is a common thing or if it has happened to anyone else!!!

heheh, i would have liked to "kick him where it counts" but he had my whole body pinned down each time including my legs... the more i struggled the more turned on he was and the rougher he got... i'm glad you kicked that dude in the junk though, i forget your name.

no no no, it wasn't "date rape." just a misunderstanding.

i was raped at a party three years before that, let me tell you, it was a completely different story... the panic and the deep internal pain of rape is a really different sensation and much worse. (group therapy helped, and so did time.)

eve: thanks for your input and for your other answer. the reason this wasn't rape was i couldn't actually tell him "no" because his tongue was literally down my throat to the point where i couldn't breathe (not too get too graphic)... 230 lb guy on a 100 lb girl, couldn't move... he finally stopped when i scratched his face as hard as i could and he stopped and looked at me in suprise. he honestly thought i was liking it. i was so panicked i just got up and left the room for a bit. if i had been physically capable of saying "no," he would have stopped.

the other experience i had, long ago, was actually rape because i was telling the guy "no," crying, trying to push him off (yeah, hard for a 100lb girl) and i know he knew that i was trying to get him to stop. i could tell by the look on his face i was just pissing him off more. he heard me. this guy couldn't.

sorry if this is disturbing to read, or a trigger for anxiety for anybody, but in a strange way, this helps me...

This has never happened to me before thank goodness. If I didn't want to do anything I expressed it and if the guy still pushed I either left or got him to leave. It was best that you ended this relationship. He was not only pushy but too stupid to realize that woman don't joke about stuff like this.

Sweety, it is still date rape! Im sorry... Yeah, I have been there (ex-husband) and it isnt good. As a result I have "memory blackouts" and the stuff I can remember - well, I dont really want to remember.
If you say NO it means NO.... Your bf should have respected you and backed off, there is no excuse for what he has done to you. I dont blame you for being scared!!!
Unfortunately, there are some men who do this and think it is their right, but it isnt...
My love goes out to you.
(I also answered another of your questions, and I meant UNacceptable behaviour - not acceptable!!! Sorry I was angry about what happened to you and rushed the answer in)

I was scared to tell the truth, and this is not normal usually guys like that is dangerous so just stay away from them as far as possible

Once. I kicked him where it counts and he got off me in a jiffy. If you say no, it means no. Guys need to learn that. If they doesn't listen, hit them where it hurts and make sure they understand that you mean business.

No this is not normal...and good for you to get out of such a relationship....NO means NO....and if he was still being aggressive with you and its still bothering you regardless your saying your okay...it sounds to me as if you was date raped...
