to long story longer-
My ex and I We dated for a year, Things where not going well, So I broke up with him, I tried to be gentle but he was really upset- From what I heard he was crying about it to anyone who would listen and he dated women who looked a lot like me.
That was years ago,
I saw an his old boss a year or so ago and he said that my ex still had trouble talking about the break up.
I am getting married and my fiance was talking about a GF who broke his heart- listening to his story I felt bad for him and I realized his break up was similar to my break up.
I didn't see my ex's side untill I talked with my soon 2 be husband.
Should I call him and apologize for being so immature all those years ago?
Or would it do more harm more than it would help him?

regardless how long the break up happened, you should apologize to the person you broke up with most especially if the cause of the parting ways is your fault. had it ever occured to you that maybe he hasn't moved on is because your ex is still waiting for a proper explanation and an apology from you as well. or at least, if the problem was from his end, at least let him have an idea of what his shortcomings was all about and so he won't be playing the guessing game until he is old and grey. hope things are straightened out between you and ex before your big day and congratulations!!

Dont encourage this man with an apology. He might think your not in love with your husband. This man has not let go because he has a problem. This is not your problem. Weve all had our hearts broken but there comes a time to move on. No apology is expected because it just didnt work out. My advise is to leave it be as a life lesson. When we are young we are imature. Thats the reason we grow up . Congratulations on your wedding !

Don't go there. In time he will move on ... as you have done. You are not responsible for his feelings, then or now.
To contact him would send your ex the wrong message, and he may think of it as if you were throwing him a line. You are in a new relationship, the last thing you (or your fiancee) need right now is someone from the past hanging around.
Let it be ... for the sake of all three of you

Hey There! I would say that you should leave it alone. Talking to him after all this time could just trigger bad things for him. You may feel bad about what happened and I can understand but it's not worth the chance of upsetting him again.

Not unless you are planning to have some sort of friendship/ongoing relationship with him. Why bring up old wounds. If you are happy and he is happy (which he might be by now) then just leave well enough alone.

It would depend on where he's at in life. Meaning weather involved in a relation ship or not. It would be nice to be able to close that chapter in his life. There's noyhing like carrying something around all your life wondering what you did wrong.

I would give it a try wouldn't hurt anything hopefully he has matured. Just tell him how you feel ad explain to him you never meant to hurt him. I'm sure things will work out.Good Luck

if it was years ago, don't worry about it. it might bring back old memories, and make it hard on him. if he can't let go after all these years, then that's him.
