they were overwhelmed in WW1. they put too much faith in their allies and under-estimated their enemies. they'r defeat came when a number of other countries came to the aid of the countries that germany had invaded.
As for WW2, they made too many mistakes. they were still unsatisfied over the last war and most of the country was too easily influenced by hitler. After hitler took over, he launched the invasions before germany had totally recovered from WW1. Although he had an extremely large army and good weaponry, many troops were stretched too thin on certain lines and this was taken advantage of by the allies. since the german economy wasnt at its best, they did not have sufficient recources to fund the military production and scientific production. well, they did, but not to the extent where they could have spent enough to fully research and upgrade weaponry. This also caused many germans (including german scientists who eventually helped the allies upgrade weaponry) to defect and help the allies.
Their biggest mistake however, was betraying their allies while still at war with most of europe. They initially had a non-attack pact with russia but while still in the process of fighting the allies, the germans decided to invade russia too. the war on two fronts eventually took its toll as russia amassed an army of millions to answer the invasion. The italians were also supposed to be allies but the germans instead decided they could not trust them and sent in a lage force to take over italy. This in itself also weakened the germans.
so as a conclusion, the germans lost because they were stupid.
they made drastic decisions, under-estimated their enemies and took allies for granted.

Germany went to war against all of the great powers of Europe and America with unreliable allies.
Italy changed sides on Germany in BOTH World Wars. You'd think Germany had learned it's lesson after the First World War.

Why do i feel that this is a very leading question that hope to watch my step. Yes, Hitler had a powerful delivery and did profound presentations. Nobody was bored. He seemed to make sense about the terrible penalties palced on Germay after WWII. Too much for them to live with. A brilliant, techical ability was put back in action and progress was spectatcular. better guns, beeter subs, better tanks, ships and intensive training and an all out effort to reinforce the the mind shaping as is going on in the US at the public shcools. So yes, the were so powerful that the fellow who was actually a stooge who finally bought into his own act. He interferred and it was costly. Hitler blew it for them. They wojuld have make reace, pulled back some and worked out a very great comeback for Germany. If Hitler had let the gererals and the states men wrarp it up he would have been a geat her whom the would have Hitler had would have huge statue and a wall of those who fell during Germam success. We would likely speak der Deutch and english would be our second lnguage and Jesse Owes would have had to race some super Deutchlander who would beat beat Jesse. Funny to thingk about it if Hitler himself had won. If gthe general had zapped as they tried it would have be an ordinary peace. Hitler was manic-depressive and what we call to day Bipoplar. He could nt hjave been hitler if he got the right meds. he woud have sat and stared at beutiful grounds at Wolftrap and let the others handle the annoying war. woud have lost interest. but it didn go down like that. funny to think about. in the long run i don;t think it woud'nt matter a twit.

Germany lost WW I because they were over matched. They probably could of beaten England and France once Russia pulled out of the war but the US and about 50 other countries declared war on them as well. They asked for a cease fire thinking the treaty would be negotiated on Wilson's 14 points. The treaty of Versaille resembled nothing of Wilson's14 points and the treaty so financially devastated Germany that 20 years later they went to war again. They lost WW II largely because Hitler went after Russia before defeating England. Also he didn't listen to his generals, he went with the political advisors who held the ground troops back at Dunkirk and sent in the Luftwaffe to win this war. 250,000 British troops escaped back to England to fight again. Then his allies the Japanese brought the US into the war and Hitler declared War on the US. Germany was again overmatched and the rest is history

As history had shown, Germany lost those two wars simply because it was alone in fighting against many opponents. It was a matter of having been highly outnumbered in weapons, resources and troops. In WWII, although Germany is allied with Italy in Europe, Italy had a weak army who really doesn't have the heart to fight.

Ok....do you remamber the cartoon called "Pinky and The Brain"?
How Pinky asks "What are we going to do tonight Brain"?. And Brain replies "The same thing we do every night, try to take over the world".....Well the same thing with Germany..... Those who attack are weaker then those who protect themselves. Even if they have successful invasion, they would not be able to keep it for a log time. By the way as many invasions they have, they are gaining that much enemies, hence have a biger chance of being attacked and wiped out. World leaders should realise that it is obsolutely not possible to rule over others. Human spirit is free from birth.

Attrition in WW!. The two sides had been kicking the snot out of each other for 3.5 years before the US stepped in but by then, the germans were beaten.
In WW2 they had poor leadership. They were fighting 2 enemies on 2 fromts, the Russians to the east and the English to the west. Poor timiong and stretched supply lines on the eastern front depleted the german military machine.

for particular, there does no longer be French Fries. There does no longer be Freedom Fries. There might want to be German Fries with an aspect of Wiener Schnitzel. this is not a threat to imagine this difficulty, because the third Reich change into like the Energizer Bunny dropping its batteries. It began out sturdy and patriotic, yet as frequent, organization practices prevail. There basically change into no longer adequate money or manpower to maintain issues going. basically imagine the hassle of struggling with a warfare on many aspects... it really is nearly a organization attempting to boost into no longer a threat markets. Hitler change into an exceedingly charismatic and hopeful determine for most German human beings, yet... he had restricted substances. imagine of him attempting to get into Russia- he had no theory how confusing it change into to wrestle a warfare in a community with such troublesome climate. particular, there is snow in Germany... yet snow in Russia??? yet another difficulty thoroughly. The kit might want to no longer get by potential of... the infantrymen suffered. variety of like even as the British tried to wrestle antagonistic to the american colonists without understanding the territory. A dropping conflict. As for Germany itself, all the patriotism interior the international does no longer delay a starving us of a with wonderful inflation and a heavily devalued overseas money. this can were the problem in "Nazi" Europe. No, the Nazi Empire might want to no longer have survived, because it did no longer have the nutrition, money nor substances to restructure.

They were simply overwhelmed. They could not sustain a "two front" war. Very hard to do.
