They are using these in some airports. A huge lawsuit was just settled that said they can't see the actual body but a cartoon of a body. Why can't we all just walk around nude, be alot safer!!

yeah, i saw it in the papers today, all i can say is that this is another tool for the police state to use in its oppression against the population and the freedom of speech. The next step will be little chips implanted into all of us to tell the government all that we have seen and done just like they want to do with cars.

This was writen by deesnuts on Yahoo!answers and i totally agree with him. WAKE UP PEOPLE:-
The Government Is Telling Us That Terrorists Are All Around Us. The Solution They Say: Submit to a Highly Dictatorial Police State
Meanwhile, They Are Doing Everything They Can to Exacerbate Our Security Problems, Like Having Wide-Open Borders. Don't Forget, the Communist Chinese Have Been Repeatedly Threatening to Nuke Us in Their Newspapers for Years...But That's Not a Security Threat...No, We're the People That Have to Be Watched -- We're the Cattle.

I can see the need for something like that in the airport. But just out in the street for no real reason would be an invasion of privacy. I have heard these machines are in use in some airports but they actually blur out the private parts, but who knows for sure.

even if it was an xray camera...u cant just see past clothes, youll see bones and stuff, and if u get turned on by bones, your a freak. The government isnt gonna put cameras on streets either, and if they do who cares unless u have something to hide.

This is completely untrue and this was started by the Sun newspaper.
The Home secretary was asked about this on the BBC news this morning and said it was not true and, to be honest can you really see this happening, its down to the old story of do you believe what you read in the papers especially the Sun.

No such camera exist, except in labs. To do what you claim they can, they would have to use too much radiation. The liability would be too great.
Just to add to your fears. . .
There are heat detection devices that will show your "heat signature" in your house, to the extent they can tell if you're male or female. Used by drug detection agents trying to find grow lamps in homes. Some courts have forbidden their use since they could detect people in "intimate situations".
Enjoy what is left of your privacy.

Hey, if it helps catch them and makes my life safer I can live with it. Invasion of privacy? Not at all. better that than having my right to a safe life be taken away by terrorists. The sooner the criminals and terrorists realise they have no place to hide the better.
