Ah Sister, much has been lost since the liberals hijacked Vatican ll, much respect and awe has been washed away from the Priesthood and Religious life by modernistic views, that smoke of satan that Pope Paul VI spoke about is very evident today,Priests and Nuns unfortunatly got swept up in things like Liberation Theology, Feminism etc and the result was disobedience to the See of Peter, the Lord did not sanction this as many presumed and so now we are experiencing the modernist aftermath, and innocent Religious like yourself have been persecuted because of the perverted behavior of those whose hearts were never really with the church in the first place but were steeped in the spirit of this world that Christ condemned.
Many good Priests and Religious are now in effect experiencing a kind of martyrhood today and you are among them, but take heart Sister the battle belongs to the Lord, and this diabolical wave will not last forever,I see it as the purifcation of the church, and as a Catholic myself I too have suffered in union with yourself and the decent clergy,I love my Catholic faith,we have the whole and complete treasury of Christ`s death and ressurrection and I will never walk away from this church that has given me so much,I will die a Catholic.
Remember Sister it is not those who inflict the most who will win but those who endure the most.
God bless you,and unite your suffering to the broken body of Christ.

I wouldn't worry too much about the thoughts and ideas of the general public on this one. It has actually become more of a joke than somebody being mad or persecuting purposefully.
The Catholic Church has always been thought to be above the rest of the world in moral standing, so when the might fall the meak have a hayday.
Nobody actually believes you have touched a child or done anything perverse in anyway. It is the irony of the entire church scandal that gets everybody talking. Don't sweat it.
Jesus Christ was the most persecuted man ever, and he has led the way for many a man and woman, his name is and will be the most infamous name throughout history.

Peace and every blessing!
Just ignore the accusations sister. This too will pass away like the other attacks on the Church. Jesus Christ promised to guide and protect his Church till the end of the age so we shouldn't worry too much.

Dear Sister,
I was schooled at St Josephs in central N.S.W..
I have no understanding of perv's and paedophiles but I can tell you that I look back with absolute fondness and admiration for the Sisters at St Joeys.
I would love to contact them and wish them the best and thank them for putting up with a brat like me.

My life is richer and my faith in God is strengthened daily from what I no longer remember. I had my children in a religious school, and it was all thanks to my early experience. I loved the sisters, but only in hindsight, I never understood all that went on in relationships with adults and children. or even children and children.

But man plans and God directs our steps.

Bless you and if you want to contact me I can be replied to below

I don't call Catholics that,in fact no one knew that was going on in the priests and monks quarters-it all new in the news these past few years. It does seem strange coming from such anti-sex church, very wicked actually.A brutal, lowly, sensual man in a cloak of righteousness..really.(Parents shouldn't forget -they are just men,not angels).Myself I wasn't raised in a Catholic home,so I never seek Catholics out much anyway, except to admire occasionally. And Protestants and Caths. do differ on some major points, when it comes to beliefs. But they can share what they do have in common anyway.

I find it odd that you have been a nun for this long and dont understand why these things are said....the current media issues in regards to sexual molestation charges against many of today's priests should tell you why......(that doesnt mean im calling you one either....) considering you are a sister of the cloth that has been in service for many years, you dont seem to have much tolerance and understanding for your fellow man, isnt prayer supposed to teach you that?

Because of your association with Catholicism and the numerous instances of catholic priests molesting young boys. Not that I agree, I'm just giving you an honest answer.

Obviously you're oblivious and ignorant of the Magdalen Laundries when unwed mothers were imprisoned and enslaved for years, sometimes decades, and the abuse and torture they endured.

Either that, or you participated in it and want to cover it up.

Despite you pathetic and pedantic (and pedophilic?) deNUNciations, there ARE an extremely high number of pedopriests lurking out there. Reputable independent studies have put the numbers at one out of every 25 (4%) are sickos. That's 4,450 of the 110,000 priests who served between 1950 and 2002.

That means in a city of 100,000 people, there are at least 3 or 4 pedopriests at wreck - oops, work. Worse still, because of the decline in numbers, many priests work in multiple branches of the company, giving them more opportunities to molest in the same city. Scary thought.

Lie to yourself all you want, the world is unwilling to swallow the semen - oops, lies - of priests and nuns.

And it's not just priests and nuns who abused, there are laymen who laid with children and took advantage of the opportunity to be alone with children.

For those reading this who don't want to hide in ignorance, here are two films that depict the cruelty and sociopathic behaviours of sadistic nuns and pedopriests. While the characters and chronologies in the films are fiction, the events and abuses detailed in both films are based on the accounts of real victims.

I almost forgot! There's also the complicity of catholic priests in the Rwandan genocide (Hutus and Tutsis) plus pope Pius XII, also know as "Hitler's pope" and the catholic silence during the holocaust.
