i want to know about the mumbai metro project in detail. what they are doing to make it true in mumbai and what is the technology behind it??

"Rolling Stock" refers to all transport vehicles pulled by an engine. The various types of car include: flatbed, container, hopper, pressurized cylinder, refrigerator, passenger, mail, etc.

For the purposes of light rail (like the Mumbai Metro project - see the link below), the rolling stock is basically the passenger cars hauled by the engines.

They are calling the project "sky bus", because they have to elevate the track above the city streets ... there simply isn't enough room on the ground floor, so to speak. And what IS available is simply too expensive to appropriate for rail usage!

rolling stock means the bogies or the rakes in which we travel and which run on tracks..........they are compositely known as rolling stock........they all seem same to us but they vary in technical specifications ..as for the mumbai metro project u can get info on the urban devlopment ministry's link...........................

THERE IS NO SPACE LEFT IN MUMBAI TO SET UP NEW TRACKS FOR METROS SO THEY USED FLYOVERS TO USE FOR METROS .ACTUALLY WHAT THEY HAVE DECIDE IS USING UNDER FLYOVER SPACE.BUT IT WILL FLOATS IN THE AIR .IS'T THIS AMAIZING DIGVIJAY?
