hi i have this lump on my back it does not hert our anything it feels like a thick pimple some one help me pls i am so scared right now i am scared of death i dont want to do ??

First, don't panic ok? Don't assume that this is a cancer. Only your doctor can determine that. Make a appt and get it checked.

Take a big deep breath. I am an RN, BSN and here is my advice. Call your family physician make an appointment. He will assess it. It sound like an ingrown hair that than turned into a pimple the skin around the hair became touch like scar tissue fighting the foreign object. There by leaving it trapped inside this little cacoon type capsule. He will lance it and pull out the hair and clean it up. Anything more serious he will biopsy it (take a sample after lancing it and send it to the lab for further tests). If you do not have access to a doctor because of money or other reasons call your local health department and they will refer you to a clinic in your area. So, relax don't try to pick it if you've been doing that over and over again it will cause the skin to get hard also. Very unlikely you have cancer. But doesn't it seem crazy to just sit around and be scared to death. Need a little drama today? Find something else more fun to be dramatic about there's lot's more fun things to do. Good Luck sweety

First of all, don't panic. A lump can by many things besides cancer, pimple, cyst, etc. Second, there is no way for anyone to answer that question in a forum. You need to go see a doctor to get it properly diagnosed. If money is an issue, I'm sure there is a free clinic somewhere near you. Just Google for "free clinics" and then the name of your city/town. Knowing is better then not knowing.

Assume you dont have one. Most likeyely it is a cyst or big zit. If it doesn't go away go to a doctor and have it checked out. Cancer usually just doesnt show up overnight as a large lump, so keep that in mind.

aww sorry your so scared, it doesn't sound like anything to worry about .
It could be anything from a boil , cyst ,a mole ,fatty tissue,abscess or even a gland, just a few, and sometimes the more you poke and prod you make them worse.
Please to put your mind at rest go have a word with your doc.

Go to the doctor, just in case. My dad has things like that all over his back, just like you described, he went as a young man, and they are called boils. Not cancerous at all

Go to your GP and then they will check it out. It is the best way for you to know, They are trained to look at such things and give you the appropriate referrals if needed to have it removed.

i found a knot on my back about the size of a quarter once i got my daughter to look at it it turned out to be a zit get a friend to look at it they can see it better and they will tell you if its a zit ro not if not go to dr.could be a boil.
