Its just past my shoulders and I have no split ends. But I haven't had it cut since last summer. Is it unhealthy to wait until I actually see a few split ends?

P.S.-->Cutting it will make my layers more visible--they've started to blend. But when I have shorter hair, the ends flip on one side....what do ya' think?

it is alws recommended to have ur hair trimmed (not cut necessarily) every 4 to 6 weeks to keep them healthy and free of split ends. hence, waiting for this long can prove to be harmful in a way that ur hair stops growng after a certain length, become thinner..and as u say the layers have started blending in, its all the more reason to go and have a nice cut..

hair should be cut at least every 7 months to prevent split-ends and to let it stay healthy. even if you don't see split-ends, your hair needs to have a trim to keep the nourishment in your hair fresh. i say you trim your hair, not necessarily cut it so it wouldn't be short enough that it would flip on one side..=)

If it's since last summer, I would suggest you get a trim. If you don't like too much layering, then don't layer.

Yes - absolutely. Change is always good and if you don't like it, it'll grow. Besides you said it - when your hair is shorter it flips up more - sounds much cuter.

i don't comprehend of an internet site yet considered a often stable decrease. Layers, which i'm particular you already considered. Layers that initiate a splash bigger than widespread can truly jazz up a in many situations drab and longer head of hair. attempt to get a decrease with flexibility so which you will curl it the two out and in, or maybe tight or loose spirals and nonetheless have sufficient lenth on it so it weighs it down sufficient and would not get loopy.
