The are one and the same.
"Christ" is a title that refers to the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament.
Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled those prophecies, thus He is the Christ.

Christ is a title, which means "anointed one of God," which is also the "son of God," but not necessarily the only "son of God." The word Christ probably comes from the word "Cyrus," which was originally pronounced as "Ky-rus." That is a name of a man who will be known as the Messiah, after he builds Jerusalem and eventually saves humanity from global destruction.
Regards,
Chris

And don't forget the HolyGhost. The Godhead has 3 persons,God the Father,God the Son,and God the HolyGhost.I think the Father is never seen and all powerful, just is,and the son was sent by the Father to die for our sins-that's what the Bible say;,the HolyGhost brings spiritual enlightenment and is a power, like a wind, which can raise the dead, give the blind sight and cast our demons(fallen angels),and is only given to those commited to God,like apostle Paul, but can be taken away,if the believer strays from God.Christ is the son of God and more personable.

the term son of god has direct connection to All believers who are redeemed, see rev 3:21, 21:7
however few people know that Adam in the book of genesis is also called son of God.
the term eloihem also has some scholar reference to ANGELS, and being taught that angels have 3 different types of creation all of them are more related to the godhead.
Jesus is THE CHRIST. jesus was the ONLY BEGOTTEN.
the difference is that Jesus is the oNLY SAVIOUR of earth which "THE ANOINTED ONE" is called christ.
despite what i say, christ has reference to Lords and Prophets that are above all mankind in righteousness, holiness and being called and "chosen". Antichrists are just the opposite, they are the people who claim to be christ but are never called or chosen by God.
The son of god TITLE is given to all the holy angels, but Jesus gave us an extreme promise that He said He has given US the POWER to become sons of God. Which means mortal beings can be called children of God. However it must be known and cannot be emphasised more that God TheFATHER is called the father of all spirits. ALL spirits haveing reference to everyone that lives. then again, on the other hand, Jesus said that ONLY THOSE that come from ABOVE will return to what was above, while some came from below, and they will go back to where below IS.

The christ is the son of God there is no difference...Isaiah prophesied about him 800 years before his birth Abraham knew him thousands of years before his birth. John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were amade by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was alife; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a awitness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the aworld, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his dglory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus IS the Christ, the Son of God. "Christ" means anointed one. Jesus called himself, not God, but the Son of God. (John 10:36)

"Christ" comes from the Greek (christos) and means "annointed one", referring to the ritual of annointing of a person in order to set him or her apart from the rest of a crowd for a special purpose or mission. In this case, the "christos" is the one annointed by God for his purpose.
A "son of God" refers to the direct offspring of God (the genetic offspring). Since all of us are genetic decendants of God, it's more of a general term, but sometimes it's used to refer to the Messiah.
