I saw by internet a very interesting clip with this name.
probably a song in urdu or hindi.
I was curious in to know that the boy says when courting the girl...
if somebody can help I am thankful

actually hindi and urdu are very similar.
although pure hindi is a mixture of marathi and sanskrit...
and pure urdu is a mixture of persian and arabic...
but nowadays in india and pakistan, pure hindi and urdu are hardly spoken, so they are more or less alike (with a few exceptions).
its not "meri sanam"...its "meray sanam"...which is used in urdu and hindi both.
it means... my beloved, my sweetheart.

other hindi/urdu phrases with the same meaning are:
"meri jaan" "meri janam"

Hi, This is a song from hindi film. Meri means my and Sanam means love that means My love.
Boy can say to girl or vice a versa. anything more you want to know then write to me.

it means
my darling

meri= my
sanam = darling or swthrt or something wid same meaning

it is mere sanam and it is generally said to express love and affection among a loving couple which may be between husband and wife or among lovers..it is equivalent to "my love" or maybe "my dear" which depends on the particular situation ....it is usually or was usually said in movies during 1960's and 1970's...in india..............

Actually Sanam means Idol in Urdu. But due to lack of knowledge of Arabic , Stupid Indians have thought that it means Lover.
