here we go...
OK- 1st, i need to say that i am an American christian (non-denominational)
America as a whole has a retardation that astounds me. After WWII Germans, After Vietnam, the Vietnamese...and now after a few dozen EXTREMISTS quite remarkably destroyed more then 3,000 lives, many Americans have decided that ALL Muslims are evil incarnate.
Which is CRAP!!! that's like saying that all Christians wear white hoods and carry burning crosses. Christianity and Muslims have never and will not understand each other for a few generations to come. Not until we raise our children to accept individuality again.
The Christians have managed to forget the atrocities that they have inflicted on the world over time while Muslims fail to realize that the Christians of America hadn't given a Sh** about what they did for hundreds of years. Sure the middle east sh** storm got stirred up by dessert storm and the attack on Saddam Hussein. we stepped on MAJOR toes by going over there, best intentions and all that, and the crown prince of all the American christian dumb asses even turned a blind eye to the Cole bombing. But 9/11 happened and i had friends hurt. Not the casualties in the world trade or pentagon. my neighbor was attacked and killed right outside of his store because he was Muslim.
The reality the NO ONE wants to face- people are too stupid by nature to realize that it makes sense that no one's religion i right. if there is only 1 way to believe- we are all going to hell!!!

Please lets not groups all countries together. Despite some instances Canada has been very good with muslims, and other religions as a whole. I am Catholic, and have many muslim, and Buddhist friends. In Mauritius..Muslims, Christians and encourage to marry each other; yes the majority of countries try to restrain themselves but usually there is a unwarrented hatred, but not every country is like that. Hopefully these countries will look at Mauritius, and other countries as an example and can see that by embrancing each other that only good will come from it.
Oh, and the hatred thing began way back....remember the Crusades?

Well, remembering 9/11 might be a good way to recognize why there is so much hatred for Islam in this country.
Personally, I do not hate Islam, I do not Islamic people. I don't hate anyone. But I freely admit that I disagree with the teachings of the Koran.
Does saying I disagree with someone's belief system make me hateful?
If that is true then what a sad, sad, world we live in that oppresses freedom of thought.

as a christian i think i can identify with you a little bit. the true nature of islam and christianity are reflected horribly by several bad apples. christian criticism is so common it is easy to shrug it off. however, for the majority of islam it seems they lack the grace to be able to take criticism in stride. it also seems that islam's interpretations of the quoran, have an elemental flaw that makes islam a breeding ground for ignorance. i no that christianity can be argued likewise, its seems that if you see the mass of christian they are quick to exclude someone professing the faith but spreading lies. where are all the muslims standing up for themselves against the jihadists? you should think about your representation, because the hostility of the few, and the silence of the millions is causing the world to resent islam as a whole.

We are the "people of the book" clever way to just lump Jews and Christians together.
How about Jizyah tax?
How about Dhimmi?
How about what you did to the Serbs? Even your ally Nazis were appalled---look up Muslim atrocities on the web.
9/11 targeted civilians, not soldiers--therefore an act of cowardice.
We do not need the promise of sexual pleasure with 72 virgins to get us to do for God, what we should?
My prophet didnt marry a 6 year old girl and consummate the marriage at 9 years old---------no way to justify that--dont try.
Need I go on? Beheadings, stonings, amputations----
REMEMBER ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE--OR SOMEBODY MIGHT GET HURT!

This is a very sensitive issue. After what is being done in US (9/11), its quite understandable to see hatrid in the eyes of US ciitizen against muslims. Its very rational and logical. I am not saying that we should hate muslims, what i am trying to say is Muslims themselves have brought this situation.
Many muslims in there defence would say that its a conspiracy against muslims and Usama has been used by some "Evil" forces. But even if we agree, that it was a conspiracy and someone used Usama, why did Usama let himself used. He ain't a kid !!!
The teachings of every religion may it be christianity or Islam or budhissm is based upon "Humanity" and "Peace". There are bad people in every cast, in every race and in every part of the world. The need of the day is to keep ourselves calm and try to understand what is going wrong. I believe someone is making money out of this whole Usama situation.
Neither Islam tells to kill christian NOR christanity preaches to murder muslims.
Its a sad sad situation !!!

1 thing that ppl who ar outside of islam should know is that verses in the quran which talk about killing ifidels etc...should be read in context.
e.g. there are some verses telling muslims 2 kill no muslims where ever u find them - This verse is revealed in the battle of badr! - so is applicable for that time only
Other verses are applicable in an Islamic state only - for example adulterers stoned to death cannot b carried out where the law is from the bible

all people reflect their country - that is what freedom is all about. The good or the bad.
just as a small percentage of so called muslims give the religion a bad name, the same is true with Christianity, or any other religion.
Even scientology.

Well to start off with, most Islamics group everyone into three catagories - Jews, Christians, or Islamic. The majority of todays people fall outside these three catagories. Then there are the verses in the Koran that make people wonder if their smiling new freind want to convert them or kill them.
Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war. Sarah 9:5
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah (blasphemy) and his Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the hereafter. Surah 5:33
Qur’an 8:60 “Infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them.”
Bukhari:V4B52N260 “The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.’”
Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”
Sahih Bukhari V6B61N577:
I heard the Prophet saying, "In the last days (of the world) there will appear young people with foolish thoughts and ideas. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for there will be a reward for their killers on the Day of Resurrection."
Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"
Bukhari, V1B4N234: "A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam, the prophet advised them to drink the urine of the camels. Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."
