How Do I Make the fonts appear in wordpad or anywhere.?

Ok I got the font in >C>WINDOWS>FONTS but it wont appear on anything
why is this happining

- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts
- If you have the font file with you, copy it then paste it in the Fonts window.
