Why do you have money in your pocket, seeing as all Christians are supposed to give to the needy?
In Jesus' own words:
Mat 26:7 There came to him a woman having an alabaster box of precious ointment and poured it on his head as he was at table.
Mat 26:8 And the disciples seeing it had indignation, saying: To what purpose is this waste?
Mat 26:9 For this might have been sold for much and given to the poor.
Mat 26:10 And Jesus knowing it, said to them: Why do you trouble this woman? For she hath wrought a good work upon me.
Mat 26:11 For the poor you have always with you: but me you have not always.
Jesus founded the Catholic church to freely distribute the fruits of his life, death, and resurrection.
He never commanded anyone to give away every resource they had, and especially those things that were necessary to give worship, honor, and glory to God.
Judas was the apostle who complained so much about money being "wasted" on Jesus.
It appears that you, and many of the other posters here, have much in common with him.

The Vatican is 'Mystery Babylon' that was prophesied in Revelation 17-18 as a corrupt, decadent and wealthy religious institution...all the stored wealth is unnecessary and is largely due to the indulgences corruption, collection for masses, or property confiscated from heretics over the centuries...if the Catholic Church wants to be a better witness to the world it should adopt a more humble approach rather than decorate its popes and clergy with pomp, pageantry and expensive regalia

With the money the Vatican helps pay for Vatican expenses and charities such as assisting 1,500,000 children and providing some measure of food and clothing to 7,000,000 needy Italians.

various that low priced "Made in China" crap that would not sell too properly interior the Vatican present save....did you comprehend which you will get all your presents "Blessed" for an further charge" in case you spend a definite volume of money interior the save? regrettably...the high priced necklace i offered my buddy there did no longer fee sufficient, yet thank Heavens she became extremely joyful to have a recent from the Vatican, and wasn't disenchanted that i did no longer get the greater desirable blessing for it!

They spend it all hindering the distribution of condoms to poor people at high risk of contracting Aids and replacing this help with idealistic and unrealistic abstinence programs that don't work.
