Round Faces Need Full Cuts
A round face is one that is widest at the cheek and ears with symmetrical curves at the chin and hairline. Full hair styles with off-center parts and height at the crown of the head compliment round faces. Layer the top of the style and keep the rest of the hair close to the face. This will serve make the face seem longer. Avoid chin length cuts and center parts, crops, and straight bangs.round face ,This shape has fullness at or below the cheekbones. Hence you have to choose a hair style that would down play the roundness of your face. It could be done by increasing the volume or lifting the hair at the top of the head or the crown to give it an oval shape. Hair cut in shabby layers would help to reduce the roundness. If you prefer a shorter cut the best style is the pixie with wisps around your face and on your forehead. The wisps towards the cheek would play down your cheeks. Avoid a style that would fall up to your chin that would only emphasize the roundness.

Ok- you don't wan't to make your face look rounder so-

1- Layers in medium length hair and a layered split fringe, make sure the layers are choppy

2- In short hair, its harder, don't get it cut too short, and bobs are out of the question. Have a look at my avatar, the short choppy style works well, i have seen it on many people with round faces and it gives them length in the face

3- For guys, go for anything but bald and a mullet, make sure that it has the style of a crew cut, but it can be varied.

I hope this helps!

You need something that frames your face. Make sure you stay below your chin. Layers are always nice.
