It depends on your world view. I am Christian and thus:
God Greated us and no there is no life on other planets. Given the efforts we have made we cannot find any.
However there is the world of the spiritual, where the angelic and demonic manifest. It is when this occurs that we tend to thinks and believe in aliens.

Logic dictates that there must be life on other planets.
Scripture dictates that to me too:
First chapter of the Quran: Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
12th chapter of the Quran: 12:4 When Joseph said unto his father: O my father! Lo! I saw in a dream eleven planets and the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating themselves unto me.
Worlds and planets and lifeforms are not ambigous meanings in Islam. They represent a lot of unknown truths.

with all respects to the human kind is that we humans have achieved many breakthrough in all fields due to many splendoured results of us
,for humans.then came the idea of seeking far reaching places and new boudaries.this i in my own mind think that is samctuary of the creator.t

.AS WE HAVE MANY RELIGEOUS REASONS TO SEEK HIM ALL OUR LIFE it is also logic to seek him wherever HEmay reside.
so for some the realising that new planets can anwer some doubts that the some may have.to me i equate all life form will be in there as long as there is the surface water for consumption.
to conclude where there is water there has to be there life force.this is evident even to every person in this world.

I think God created us.
If God created us, why not create other planets as well? There's tons of space out there. I have no doubt there are other planets with life on it. Where it is is the question.
