What they fail to understand is that these men were inspired by God Almighty. He wrote the Bible through these men. Men like Moses, and all the others were men chosen by God Himself to record what He wanted to pass on to the rest of the world. This misunderstanding is how Islam evolved. Some regular guy like Mohammad decided to make himself a lessor god and told the world that Allah told him these things himself. Allah is not a god and even though this is the eastern translation for god, God Himself is the only real God and He didn't up and decide to allow anyone to call Him Allah. Jesus is our Messiah and what He did is recorded in the New Testament and is a guide for all how to live your life. He gave us His Holy Spirit to stay with us and give us guidance for as long as we are here on earth. He is the only path to Heaven. Understand this and your lives will change forever. I'm an Atheist and an Ancient Texts scholar too:

1) What Muslims and Jews, claim (better say, KNOW) is that through a volontary misinterpretation of the Gospels (the New Testament) Christians claim something that's written NOWHERE = that Jesus was God's Son. That's an assumption, a simple assumption, that's neither written nor proved nowhere; the truth is that it is simply an invention of the early Fathers of the Church.

2) On the other hand, what (we) Archaeologists, Historians, Philologists and educated Atheists KNOW for sure is that not only what Muslims and Jews claim is correct; but that even the Old Testament was corrupted by men in oder to fit the new rising Monotheistic Faith born back in thew 6th Century BC. Ancient Sumerian texts in facts tell a different story and that's the true one.

3) Therefore, your question is wrong: there's no contraddiction in Islam: Islam has the very same Patriarchs named in the Old Testamen as well as the very same Godt; and it's actually a religion BASED on the Old Testament; what doesn't add up for Muslims is just the New Testament instead and the way Christians used it to claim their version;)

Facts state otherwise. I wish I knew the real truth about what I was studying my whole life, it was wrong. The Bible WAS written by a lot of different people. But there WERE men who decided what to put in the Bible. There are other text and parts of books that are in the Bible, that have been left out.

I'm sorry, but I grew up Christian and science and shown me the real story of the Bible and religion all over the world. I do believe as a Christian with questions, that other religious text is truer than ours.

It's fact not fiction that our Bible is NOT all the text that was left for us to contemplate. There were men (mostly Priests!), sinners (we are all sinners, right?) that decided themselves what to put in the Bible.

Actually lack of facts that Mary Magdeline was a whore. There are no ancient text that says that. The men who put the Bible together made that up.
So why couldn't they have made other stuff up?

If you think it is easy to KNOW this stuff after they way I grew up and actually HAVING to ACCEPT the truth of the facts, you are wrong. It's very confusing....but an open mind is what you need.

You really need to watch more educational TV about the Bible.

The story of Ishmael is a good example .. bible claimed that he was casted out after weaning of Isaac (the difference between them is 14 years) so he was 17 years old by that time .. while Islam says he was still an infant when God ordered Abraham to take him and his mother to Macca .. For something to be corrupt it doesn't mean every word has to be changed. Changing one word is considered corrupt, i.e. such as replacing name, for example:

A controversy has raged between the people of the Bible and the House of Islam as to which of the sons of Abraham (pbuh), Ishmael or Isaac was offered as a sacrifice.

The Bible is quite clear in designating the offering:

"And he (God Almighty) said, take now thy son, THINE ONLY SON . . ., whom thou lovest, and et thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering . . ." Genesis 22:2.

If at anytime, an offspring of Abraham (pbuh) can be described as "thine only son: it could only be Ishmael, because for more than thirteen years, he was the only son and seed of Abraham.

God Almighty acknowledges Ishmael as the "son and seed" of Abraham in no less than twelve places in the Book of Genesis alone. At no time was Isaac the only son and seed of Abraham!

When someone can convert an Israelite into an Ishmaelite when no motives are involved, then how much easier for them to change the word "you only son Ishmael" to : your only son Isaac!"

"Amasa was a man's son, whose name was Ithra an Israelite . . . " 2 Samuel 17:25

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.


There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur'ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur'an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.


These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect



It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.


Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. The oneness and universality of God's message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus's mission and Muhammad's mission; the Christians reject Muhammad's mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.


As the Qur'an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good" (3:86).


The Final Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach
