Protein foods. Nuts, meat, cheese (all very fatty and so not the best diet for your heart). You are meant to avoid basically everything else (bread, pasta and worst of all fruit - that can't be good). Don't do the diet for long - it may work with the weight loss - but it may age you too as you won't be getting many anti-oxidents.

Atkins diet is minimum carbohydrate or nil carbohydrate & a lot of protein.

I would look up their website: http://www.atkins.com/ , This would give you a range of foods that you may like or dislike and some recipes that you can create.

lots of meat..All kinds (exept some kinds of sausages), full fat cheese, milk, cream, sugar free jelly, salad leaves, most green veg.
