What is the best refrigrating tempreture for it ?

i always ask these kind of questions when i am giving blood and if i remember correctly it only last for like 4 days - they keep it in vinyl bags in a fridge until its needed. - i could be totally wrong.

I think the life span is 30 days. And after 3 days it has to be sent back to the blood bank from the hospital to be retested. The blood bank could potentially rotate this blood to another facility if it is found to be good.

I'm sure hoping you are not attempting a home transfusion.

The Red Cross adds an antigoagulant and keeps it blood refrigerated. I think 30 days is their limit but don't quote me on that one.
