i work out every day for anywhere from 40 min to and hour. 40 min of cardio and 20 min upper body strength training. I try to diet but i hceat here and there, i am also taking the weight loss suppliment fahrenheit.
i want to lose weight faster...does anyone have any suggestions?

okay well lets pretand i want to loose weight for JUST ME. seriously my relationship is fine and of course he would love me even if i was obese. BUT I want to lose weight. and my goal is to lose the weight before he comes home..THATS ALL

Apparently eating several small meals throughout the day is key to keeping your metabolism up, but that takes time. You could just try puking after meals, but that ruins your teeth and the lining in your esophagus plus it can dehydrate you quickly. Other than diet and exercise and pills, lyposuction and eating disorders are the only quick choices.

I have yet to find a vegetarian who is overweight. Not that I am looking for an overweight vegetarian, but I think it is interesting to note :-)
Keep in mind that the faster you lose weight without changing your eating habits (cf diets of all shapes and sizes), the faster it will come back again - with interest.
*) Fast food should be avoided.
*) Diets almost never work.
*) Changing your eating habits will work in the long term.
*) I believe that stress is an excellent method to gain weight quickly.
If you have 3-4 months to lose the weight, and we are not talking about a massive amount of weight, then you should have no problems at all. Just stay positive, and concentrate on feeling healthy and being healthy. There is something that could help you lose weight and keep it off, but since advertising specific products on Y!Answers is frowned upon, you can contact me if you want some more info. :-)

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

DO NOT CRASH DIET!! It will help you lose weight fast, but your body will catch up by gaining double wot you lost! I recently lost 15 kilos by just eating more!! i ate heaps of fruit for breakfast- no cereal! for lunch i just had a sandwich and for diner i had lots of of hot food and a big bowl of frozen yoghurt, with the exercise you are doing i hope this works for you

dont worry your husband should love you for you and if he doesnt then hes not the man you should be with and dont od on the dieting pills you dont wanna be like that woman on requiem for a dream
but what youre doing now is fine there is no easy way to lose weight faster than you are now

I have heard that the "south-beach" diet really works. I am going to start it in a week or so. Maybe that would be worth researching. Good Luck...let me know how it goes, and what worked for you!

I know that he is alive and seeing you is more important then a few pounds. Put the emphasis on seeing him alive again, and make the most of your time together before he has to go back.
