It had an ice cream surrounding like Happy feet but the centre was a lovely soft gooey caramel toffee - you needed to scarap it off the lolly stick - this would have been early-mid '70's. Any ideas. It might have been banana flavour but I might be confusing the taste with Toffo sweets

You could also get a Cider or Spearmint (blue) lolly from the ice cream van around the same time. The good old days.

This sounds to me to be a lolly that was called "Lord Toffingham" after a character in a childrens comic. Can't to the life of me remember which comic though.
