My 8 year old son was the proof. He's older now.
For about a year he had the habit of getting out of bed and coming into the living room to watch TV with us... way past his bedtime. He would NOT speak to us, or reply to our words, his parents, in either language. He would just rubb his eyes.. and after 3 minutes go back to bed, and not remember a thing in the morning.
This happened 20 times in that year....and never again.

YES, of course its real. It has been pyschologically proven that sleepwalking is real, and is caused by extreme stress and fatigue. I used to sleep walk when I was under a lot of pressure, but have since stopped (life isn't so hectic right now).

I watch my 10yr old do it every night. He'll come out of his bedroom and say it's time for school at like 2am or 3am sometimes even 4am starts to make his lunch, meanwhile he having a full conversation with me, then out of the blue he'll start crying and say mommy why am i in the kitchen. he's tried to go out the front door claiming he was going to the park in his underwear. Sleep walking is very real.

yes it is real all it is, when people get stressed when in bed or in sleep it causes there brain to keep on thinking as if it is awake so the brain will still thibk your awake and will tell you to get up and walk around but you are asleep so you dont know any of this. also most people have trouble with sleep walking people kll people in there sleepwalk and get into alot of trouble.

Yes I used to sleepwalk all over the place. I'd go get dishes out and put them in weird places and I'd go in different rooms and just mess with stuff that didn't even make sense. I never even knew I was doing it until my family and families of friends when I'd sleep over at their houses kept telling me and I finally believed them. How embarassing! I even walked in a friend's parent's room one time they said! They said they would just "steer" me back to my bed as they didn't want to freak me out by waking me up. That would be pretty terrifying to wake up standing up in another room! For some reason it only happened in my preteen years and i outgrew it.

it is a kind of an illness like any other illness
sometimes some people speak while sleeping iam one of them and sing and move their arms without feeling this.
so sleep walking is a kind of disturbance in the nurves of the brain that affetcs the part of hte brain with gives the signals to the legs and hands to move and this is the reason behind sleep walking

It is real. I know people (especially children) who have done it from time to time. Anyone who has been with someone who sleepwalks knows that person is not awake because of the way the person looks and acts.
I'm sure you could easily find the scientific explanation regarding sleepwalking, but here's a good link that does a pretty good job of explaining:

I used to sleep walk on occasion when I was a youth. One night, in the middle of the night, I woke myself up only to find I had jumped in the shower and turned on the water. It's a rather bizarre experience.

yep--it's a real medical entity. Lots of good info on WebMD. Check it out. Tons of information to scientifically explain it--all provided by sleep researchers.
